International Workers Day in Mutonia (Santarcangelo di Romagna, Italia)
Mutonia is the place where The Mutoid Waste Company lives. This company was founded by a group of artists (coming from England). In the early nineties, after attending the Theater Festival in Santarcangelo, the mutoids decided to settle in the countryside of this little Italian town. The place was transformed into a post-apocalyptic themed park, full of amazing mechanical sculptures. Mutonia is also their home and stands for a different way of living, slower, simpler. which highlights the manual work (mostly using recovery materials) and the bond with nature.
